The Opportunity
LinkedIn profiles are static and credibility is opaque. Learning platforms (Coursera, etc.) don't connect to professional identity. A skill-tree model could make progression visible, create natural discovery (who has the skills I need?), and incentivize continuous growth.
Approach
Define skill ontologies by domain (e.g. data eng, product, climate tech). Trees have prerequisites and levels. Progress via: project attestation, peer endorsement, assessments, or course completion. Integrate with existing credentials where possible.
