Concept exploration for AI-powered reception and call-handling capabilities. I've developed IP around lead qualification logic, call flow orchestration, and conversation-aware scheduling in previous systems work. Evaluating how these capabilities could be productized—either as standalone tooling or embedded in broader platforms.
The Opportunity
Small businesses and service providers lose leads to missed calls, long hold times, and after-hours gaps. AI reception could fill that gap—but the devil is in context handling, fallback behavior, and integration with existing CRMs and calendars.
Approach
Focus on reusable building blocks: intent classification, entity extraction, scheduling logic, and graceful handoff to humans. Prioritize integration points over monolithic product.
