Civic / Public Interest Platform
Organize, fund, and execute works of public interest. Housing, parks, community projects—works with city but private.
Overview
A platform to organize, fund, and execute works of public interest—housing, parks, community projects. Works alongside city government but operates privately. Local and/or national. Create projects, recruit teams, set milestones, fundraise, and track execution.
The Opportunity
Public goods are underfunded and coordination is fragmented. Cities have limited capacity. A private layer that connects community initiative with funding and execution could unlock projects that fall between institutional cracks.
Approach
Auth + profiles (skills, location) + listings (projects) + optional voting (which project to fund next) + payments (donations, pledges) + teams (members, milestones). First slice: create/list projects + donate.
Focus Areas
- •Project creation and discovery
- •Team and milestone structure
